Sharp. It's the first thing that comes to Red Cake's mind when seeing Richard's work. It's sharp in a well-designed and visually satisfying way. And it's sharp in a "the light bulb went off oh I GET IT" way. It's what we think conceptual art should be : short, sweet, and -- best of all -- understandable.
Richard is a Minneapolis based artist who has exhibited in Minneapolis, South Bend, Providence, and San Francisco. In addition to print ephemera, Richard's artistic work also includes painting, sound, and theater. He has a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from the University of Minnesota.
